Chinese Chess

Having a long history of over 30 years, the Hwa Chong Chess Club has become a prominent figure in the chess scene in Singapore. Our clubis made up of two sections, one being Chinese Chess and the other being International Chess.

We train twice a week for a total of 6 hours, not just by playing chess, but also listening attentively to lessons taught by the coaches. This ensures that members are well prepared to face tough and stronger opponents in the various competitions we participate every year. Our club also organises many outings and team-bonding activities for all members to participate.

We may decide to grab a meal together, or even spend time having fun like watching movies or overnight stays. By the end of four years, you are bound to form close ties with all members of the club. If you are willing to put in effort into our CCA and at the same time, want to enjoy yourselves, try out for our CCA! :)
