Established in May 1966, Hwa Chong Institution National Cadet Corps (HCINCC) is one of the premier National Cadet Corps (NCC) units in Singapore. HCINCC has constantly been recognised as one of the top few units in Singapore in terms of achievement, ability and discipline. HCINCC is most renowned for being one of the few NCC units to be awarded with the title of “Centre of Excellence” in Precision Drill Squad (PDS), as well as being the only NCC unit to have won the PDS competition for 3 years straight.

 

In HCINCC, cadets get to partake in a plethora of fun and challenging military-related activities. Such activities allow our cadets to develop themselves holistically, becoming more disciplined and resilient. These activities also give them a glimpse of military life, which is beneficial as most cadets would eventually go on to serve the Army. More importantly, our unit places great value in the bonds forged amongsts cadets after experiencing both physically and mentally rigorous trainings and learning to work together as Non-Commissioned Officers in charge of the unit. These strong and unique bonds of friendship between cadets are what make NCC so special.
