Shooting Club

Shooting is a mental sport where the competitor with the strongest mental strength would be victorious. The Hwa Chong Shooting Club centers around perseverance and resilience. We will never to waver in the face of strong rivalry as we to overcome obstacles to produce commendable results!

Members of the Hwa Chong shooting club will either be assigned to use an air rifle or air pistol which would be fired at a 10 meter range. Our training sessions are conducted in an indoors air conditioned shooting range at the College’s indoor sports hall. Training sessions usually last approximately 2 hours each, and members are required to attend at least 3 a week. Our CCA consists of about 40 members, with around 10 from each batch. One can expect to train in a friendly and jovial environment.

Finally, all shooters would get to participate in at least 1 competition throughout their time in the CCA, such as the National School Games or the NUS Invitational Shoot (NUSIS).
