Since its establishment in the early 1960s, the Hwa Chong Track & Field team has attained many outstanding achievements, including being the first ever school to win all 4 divisions in a single year in 2017, and then doing so again in 2019.  Our team has become one of the most established school sports team in Singapore School Sports scene. Behind these amazing results are countless hours of hard work from our boys, who train tirelessly every week on the track or in the gym, with the goal of representing our school in their respective events in the National Schools Track & Field Championships.

 

This competition is one of the biggest and most prestigious, but also the most challenging inter-school competition in the local school sports scene. On the final day of the National Schools Track & Field Championships, it is a tradition for the entire Hwa Chong to cheer for our athletes at the National Stadium. The immense support given to our athletes, as well as the guidance from our coaches and the hours of training has allowed this CCA to attain such outstanding results over the years, and we hope that our CCA can soar to greater heights in the future.
