Waterpolo

Commitment, resilience and determination. These words elegantly encapsulate the Waterpolo CCA. Waterpolo is a combination of many sports, such as football, basketball and handball. The aim of the game is to score more goals than the opponent. As simple as it may seem, one needs to have the physical stamina to swim up and down the field while treading water, and also have the presence of mind to execute the tactics to perfection. Dubbed the hardest sport in the world by many, it is a common sight to see us sweating it out in the pool, giving our all during training.

Water polo has helped shape our characters and our physical abilities, pushing us to our limits. Water polo has also helped forge lasting friendships and has also helped us to gain a deeper understanding of our school motto – 自强不息. Do not worry about your level of physicality as ultimately, your passion and attitude is the most important in learning and enjoying this sport. We train at least 3 times a week.

What we are looking for are committed and passionate individuals. Do not worry about the lack of physicality or anything as ultimately, your attitude and passion counts for most in your Water Polo journey.
